According to an old proverb "to make a great wine you need silver in the plant and gold in the barrels". The Montiverdi cru wine knows as "VENTESIMO" embodies this definition to the full, celebrating not only an important achievement for the firm in itself, but also a mark of respect demonstrated in recent years by customers towards all the products created and developed there. Ventesimo is structured and noble cru wine, with a base provided by red Sangiovese grapes, together with the best clones of the so-called "improving" red grape vines, which have found particulary favourable microclimates at the Montiverdi winr firm. This wine proves that the constant development of the product, following state-of-the-art oenological research, takes our Chianti Classico intoa foremost position for the next millenium.
