Of the winery's four "cru" vineyards, Cipressone definitely enjoys the best conditions: south/south-west exposure, an altitude of 250-270m above sea level, and soil with a high level of clay and Alberese rock providing the plants with a more balanced supply of nutritional substances and water, which is very important in the dry Chianti Classico area. These favourable conditions are reflected in the grapes and the wine they produce, fullbodied and balanced with a perfect blend of components, a high alcohol content and remarkably powerful aromas. The organoleptic features of the Vigneto Cipressone Chianti Classico are perfectly enhanced by several months' ageing in barriques.
