The production of sparkling wines by the Fattorie vine-growers located in the rich area of production of the Chianti Classico wine is a relatively recent introduction. The modifications made in the requirements for the production of the traditional Tuscan wine ha sled to a reduction in the percentage of white grapes in its composition. By an intelligent operation of reconversion and the introduction of new varieties of white grapes (Chardonnay) which have a high content of aromatic componente, the vineyard's assets of white grapes has been turned to the best possibile use, producing magnificent sparkling wines of the type known (era scritto know) as "blanc de blanc" (white sparkling wine obtained from white grapes). These brut sparkling wines contains (era scritto contain) the merits of a soil which has a special vocation for vines and the expert sparkling method, which represents the greatest expression of sophisticated technology applied by man to the production of quality wines.
